Welcome to the ServeEz documentation! This guide will help you understand how to use our platform efficiently, whether you're a service provider or a customer.

Installation

To get started with ServeEz, download our app from the App Store or Google Play Store:

  • iOS: Search for "ServeEz" on the App Store
  • Android: Search for "ServeEz" on Google Play Store

System Requirements

Our app is designed to work on a wide range of devices:

  • iOS 12.0 or later
  • Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
  • Web: Latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge

User Account Setup

Setting up your ServeEz user account is simple and straightforward. Follow these steps to get started:

Download the App

Download the ServeEz app from the App Store or Google Play Store and open it on your device.

Create Account

Tap "Sign Up" and enter your email address, phone number, and a secure password. You can also sign up using Google or Facebook.

Verify Account

Check your email or SMS for a verification code. Enter the code to verify your account and activate it.

User Profile Setup

After creating your account, complete your profile for a better experience:

  • Personal Information: Add your full name, profile picture, and date of birth. This information helps service providers identify you.
  • Contact Details: Verify your phone number and email address for secure communications with service providers.
  • Location Services: Enable location services to find nearby professionals. You can specify your primary address for service delivery.
  • Payment Methods: Add your preferred payment methods such as credit/debit cards or mobile payment options to facilitate seamless transactions.

Provider Registration

Becoming a service provider on ServeEz opens up opportunities to grow your business and connect with customers. Follow these steps to register as a provider:

Create Basic Account

Start by creating a standard user account as described above. Then navigate to Settings Become a Provider.

Professional Information

Complete your professional profile with your business name, services offered, and service area. Be specific to attract the right customers.

  • Business description (250 characters max)
  • Services categories and subcategories
  • Service area radius or specific locations

Verification Documents

Upload required documents to verify your identity and professional qualifications:

  • Government-issued ID (passport, driver's license)
  • Professional certifications or licenses
  • Business registration documents (if applicable)
  • Proof of insurance (required for certain services)

Portfolio and Pricing

Showcase your work with high-quality photos of previous projects. Set your pricing structure for different services.

  • Upload 5-10 high-quality portfolio images
  • Define base prices for each service
  • Set up any additional charges or fees

Account Review

Our team will review your application within 2-3 business days. You'll receive an email notification once approved.

Profile Management

Keeping your profile updated helps ensure the best experience on ServeEz. Here's how to manage your account:

User Profile Management

  • Update Personal Info: Edit your name, photo, contact details, and address in Account Settings.
  • Payment Methods: Add or remove payment options in the Payment section.
  • Notification Settings: Customize how and when you receive notifications about bookings and offers.
  • Security: Change password, enable two-factor authentication, and review login activity.

Provider Profile Management

  • Update Services: Add, edit, or remove services in the Services section.
  • Availability Management: Set your working hours and block out unavailable times.
  • Price Adjustments: Update your service prices and special offers.
  • Portfolio Updates: Add new images and remove outdated ones from your portfolio.

Account Analytics

Both users and providers have access to account analytics:

  • Booking history and spending patterns

  • Booking statistics and acceptance rate
  • Client demographics and recurring clients
